Light Up Hoad

TICKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE - FREE!

Help us to Light Up Hoad. Hundreds of people will line the zig-zag path up the front of Hoad Hill, from Hoad Lane all the way to the Sir John Barrow Monument. No drones please. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Tickets are free of charge. Small donations to help cover costs would be greatly appreciated. Children with tickets will receive a free LED glow stick (courtesy of MARL).

 

There will be an area at the foot of the hill for people with wheelchairs, pushchairs, etc to take part. No dogs on the route please, as they may present a tripping hazard in the dark.

Assemble in Ford Park between 6:30pm and 7:15pm. Visit the walled garden and listen to the live music. Entry to the hill from Hoad Lane starts at 7:15pm. The River of Light will illuminate at 8pm.

The event is organised in collaboration with Ford Park Community Group, Ulverston Resilience Group, and Sir John Barrow (Hoad) Monument Keepers, with assistance from Ulverston Inshore Rescue, Ulverston Town Council, and Ulverston Town Lands.
